Returning to running post an Achilles rupture and intending training towards my first 1/2 marathon, a colleague recommended Noel. After a phone consultation, I signed up with Noel for his online training program. Training plans were delivered each week, feedback provided and Noel was always available to give advice on any concerns. I had a few minor niggles along the way, really just a consequence of upping my training load and Noel was very responsive in adjusting plans as we went along and crucially offering calm and practical reassurance. I happily completed the half in Italy in May 24 in a good time and in great physical shape and it’s been onwards and upwards from there! I felt Noel’s guidance and advice along the way were invaluable in helping me both achieve my goal and put me on a path to consistent and (crucially) enjoyable running training since. Having access to Noel’s WhatsApp training group with fellow ‘students’ also provides an excellent forum to ask questions and discuss related topics with other runners of all abilities, beginner to elite. Added to all the above, he’s simply a sound and very positive person to work with. I’d have no hesitation in recommending him to any runner or would be runner in helping to set and achieve their goals.

I signed up to NCR in August of last year and I am thrilled with the results so far. Noel sends me a tailored plan each week and I love the structure to them. I don't have to think about what I am going to do, or worry about whether I am doing enough training or the right kind of training to achieve my running goals. I just do what is on the plan and trust the process! Noel's weekly check-ins are a fantastic way to get/give feedback and he is always available to give support and guidance. When I started running properly at the start of 2024, I thought having a running coach was for elite runners and those with high-end goals. That said, I still got in touch with Noel for some help in the build up to the Dublin Marathon and his help was absolutely invaluable. He's such a knowledgeable coach and gets the perfect balance between pushing you to improve whilst making it enjoyable too. His help in the lead up to races certainly made for a much less anxious build up. I signed up with Noel June 2023, in the next six months of following Noel’s weekly sessions specifically designed for me, I got a 5km, 5 mile, 10km, 10 mile, half marathon & marathon PB. The sessions are mixed variety with rest breaks which allow my body enough recovery so I can give it my all for the next one.
