Why Noel Carroll Running?

I can help you achieve your goals. I have successfully guided beginners and seasoned runners to achieve their goals including  Personal Bests over distances from 5k to the Marathon. Some of my athletes have joined my coaching plans initially just to improve fitness and some have progressed to sub 1.20 half marathons and sub 3 hour marathons.

 

My coaching philosophy is based on building a high aerobic capacity with consistency being the key. I assess a runners ability by analysing their current training, identifying strengths then develop a personalised training program with short and long terms goals taken into account. I believe constant communication with the runner is key, I feel explaining the rationale behind every rep, run, session and rest day is vital

The Online Training Plans are personalised Weekly training plans  for runners at all levels and abilities. If you're looking to improve your times from 5k to a Marathon or if you simply want to improve your overall fitness we can put together a Personalised plan to meet your goals

Group Sessions

I am available for Group sessions for all fitness levels. If you're a team looking to improve your overall fitness and speed I can tailor sessions to get your team towards their fitness goals

About me

I am a runner and coach who has been involved in athletics for over 20 years.  I have competed as a long distance runner on the road, track and cross country. I have competed at Provincial, National and International level.

Achievements:

  • 5 time Cavan Cross Country Champion

  • National U23 Steeplechase Champion

  • Multiple All Ireland medals

  • Multiple Ulster Medals

Personal Bests:

  • 1500m: 3 mins 58 secs

  • 3k: 8 mins 35 secs

  • 3k Steeplechase: 9 mins 31 secs

  • 5k: 15 mins 12 secs

  • 10k: 32 mins 04 secs

  • Half marathon: 1 hour 10 mins

  • Marathon: 2 hours 29 mins
